This is so cinematic! And I love how the story comes full circle, for everyone’s roles, and how semantics play into the wrap-up.

  Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the story, especially the ending. I knew it would end badly for Sylvie, but I didn’t want her utterly defeated when we leave her. I wanted her to have some fire and fight left in her, despite her loss. (Kinda like writing on, while facing rejections, maybe? 🙂
